Kids and youth
Faith, fun and friends
Here at Park, children are really important to us. Not just our own kids, but yours too. When Jesus Christ was on earth, His disciples once made the mistake of brushing off some children as they tried to get near to Jesus. In the disciples’ minds, children simply weren’t important enough to get near someone as special as Jesus. Jesus certainly wasn’t angry with the kids, but He did have some straight words for His disciples, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”
At Park, we want to follow the example of our Lord Jesus Christ and be as welcoming as we can to children and young people. While we want all the kids at Park to be followers of Jesus Christ, we don’t try to make them do that. We simply teach them the reasons why we believe this is the best choice for anyone to make in life. Check out the various activities we have for kids below.
Sunday School classes
Every Sunday morning during term time we hold Sunday School classes for children ages 2-11. The children split into age-appropriate groups to hear a bible story and then do a craft or play games. We use the Trueway Kids lessons which you can download below. If you’re bringing your children to Sunday School you must complete a registration form. This can be download here or collected at the church when you turn up.
